Information to Authors
Information on the topical framework of the
workshop is given in the Programme. There will be 2 types of paper:
- full length papers, maximum 15 pages
- short papers, maximum 5 pages
'Short papers' are reserved for research which is under progress, with
ideas and/or preliminary results , which will be concluded at a later stage.
Abstracts MUST indicate - below the title - which type of paper
that the authors intend to submit to the workshop.
Abstracts shall be maximum 1 page long, in 'Arial 12' letters, in Word. Please see the
detailed guidelines for writing and submission of Abstracts NOTE: Authors with accepted abstract for presentation at the workshop,
MUST register and pay participation fee no later than 1 week after
notification of acceptance, as decided by the International Paper Selection Committee. Please see the

Papers Registration information
Final registration will be accepted as soon as the workshop participation fee is
transferred to the Workshop bank account. Registered participants will receive
further details on the transfer of the fee, by e-mail , except for those
students that want to participate in the workshop only (ex. meals and
proceedings)
For everyone attending the conference:
Workshop participation fee is is NOK 1500.- or the
equivalent i EURO. This covers mainly direct expenses per participant such as
meals/dinner, refreshments, proceedings CD etc.
Students:
Free of charge (however, exempt of meals and workshop proceedings). The alternative is to
pay the full amount to receive full service.
Student participating free of charge, must also register in time, and must present 'proof of
study' (student ID card, etc) of their institution upon registration on site.
Non-payant students will be admitted to the extent that there
are seats available. Registered students will be notified about this right after the deadline of
registration October
20.
Registrations will be accepted on a first come - first served basis, as the seating space is limited.
Deadline for the final registration is: October 20, 2006
NOTE: Authors with accepted abstract for presentation at the workshop,
MUST register and pay participation fee no later than 1 week after
notification of acceptance, as decided by the International Paper Selection Committee
Lunch and Dinner
will take place in neighbouring restaurant KOKKAMOK, just walk across a river bridge outside
the entrance of BI, and a couple of hundred meters south on Nydalsveien
to number 17.
The workshop
lunch includes mineral water, and the dinner will include mineral water and wines.
Hotel information
Participants are recommended to book hotel accommodation as early as possible, as
the demand for hotel rooms in Oslo sometimes exceeds the supply.
There is an SAS Radisson Hotel (Nydalen) right at the campus (just adjacent to the workshop site),
however, for lower priced hotels registrants are referred to hotel booking portals/agencies on
the web, or Visit Oslo ; Alternatives below 600 NOK are Anker
Best Western, Thon Hotels (chain), and P-Hotels. For a list of most hotels, and information on them, see

Note that prices always include a complete breakfast.
How to get to Oslo
There are good connections to Oslo from most major European cities, and in any case through Copenhague ;
For budget flights, check out the carriers Ryanair, Germanwings, Norwegian , Sterling Airways and Condor, from certain cities to
Oslo (Ryanair to Torp Airport only, approx 2 hrs from Oslo by bus).
How to get to BI Norwegian School of Management
There is a subway system in Oslo. Take no.
4, 5 or 6 to Station "Nydalen"
from downtown/National Theatre, the subway train stops right outside the entrance to BI.
Travelling time is 13 minutes from the Central Station, 10 minutes from the National Theatre,
and 7 minutes from Majorstua.
From the city centre, bus no. 37 stops right outside BI. There are also
tramways to various parts of the city. There is a taxi station close to the entrance of BI.
